TECHNICAL SOLUTION
An important aspect of the technical implementation of digitalization is the used technology. We live in a time when development is very fast and there are frequent technological changes. The choice of an updated technical design thus becomes, also from this point of view, very important for the long-term use of the system, which is essential for the digitalization proces.
Our UCS™ CLOUD Solutions systems implement monitoring and measurement through available ports (RS-232/485, Ethernet) and using existing protocols. The connected UCS™ X1 and UCS™ X1 DIN modules wirelessly send data to the database in the cloud storage server using LPWAN (Low Power Wide Area Network) technology and via the NB-IOT (Narrow Band Internet Of Things) protocol. The system of passive monitoring of other quantities takes place using various sensors connected to other UCS™ X1 and UCS™ X1 DIN modules, also working wirelessly and communicating via NB-IOT technology. The range of sensors is very wide and they are used according to specific needs.
UCS™ X1 is a hardware module designed to connect sensors, indicators (HMI, PLC) to the UCS™ CLOUD. Using 5G and NB-IOT technology, the module securely sends monitored data to the cloud storage. The module connects to a dedicated power supply.
UCS™ X1 DIN
UCS™ X1 DIN is a hardware module designed to connect sensors, indicators units (HMI, PLC) to the UCS™ CLOUD. Using 5G and NB-IOT technology, the module securely sends monitored data to cloud storage. The module connects to a dedicated power supply and is exclusively intended for installation on a DIN rail.
The cloud data storage server, on which the measured data are stored in, has secure access. The server located in the cloud can perform analytical data processing in order to determine the long-term behavior of the production process in order to optimize it. The reports which are delivered regularly at various intervals (weekly, monthly, ...) are used for operative decision-making by the management, who will appreciate the irreplaceable content of the report.
With the existence of a large amount of measured data, various artificial intelligence processes can be applied. These can process a large volume of data, analyze it and suggest further optimization steps.
